I know I've been heavy on the sports pictures lately, but hey, it is what it is! There's a Grandpa of one of David's teammates that is a professional photographer and he got some great action shots I couldn't resist posting. Just be glad I ddidn't post any pictures from our brutal soccer game last night. Ouch!

Help me, I have Amnesia.
Sometimes I just have to stop and reflect. Right now I am totally realizing that I have short term memory loss. You see, today I took both boys over to sign them up for Pop Warner football. I know, it's only March 8th. Football juat ended last November. It really hasn't been that long since I was complaining about how much time and control football had over our lives! And here I am on a beautiful spring day signing up not one, but two boys. Seriously, what is wrong with me? Hmmm, I'm going to search back in some pictures to give me a clue.
Clearly, I'm a sucker for a uniform.
Long hours spent sitting at pratices in lawn chairs, that's good fun, right? (Friends and Soda required.)
I'm a total sap when it comes to celebratory huddles. And motivational/inspirational/pregame huddles, oh my, don't even get me started. There's something about a team huddled gathered tight around their coach that brings me back everytime. I'm just not going to complain about it this season, I'm going to love it and embrace every minute of it! (Don't let me forget that, ok?)

Pinewood Derby Blues
I feel alive again! Thanks to the geniuses at the Geek Squad, we are back in business! The ole' computer has been ill for quite some time. It was suffering from a virus that was debilitating. It was slowly sucking the life away from the motherboard. Actually, I really don't understand at all what was wrong with it, but I just know it was getting to be next to impossible to blog or surf the Internet(read blog stalk or shop on the internet). So, after a few days in the computer hospital, we are back up and running. More like sprinting, across the world wide web. I've got some catching up to do, so stick around and browse awhile. I'm sure you've missed us!
So, the girls are all stoked for the annual Pinewood Derby. They dressed in their trademark racing stripes.
James got to lead the Pledge of Allegiance. He did just fine.
The couple that prays together stays together.
Abby sure does love her neighbors.
This picture pretty much sums up the night. James was quite frustrated with his car's performance. He wasn't last place, but he also wasn't second place, like last year. However, this year's model was all built by James. With minimal parental supervision. Kindof like how it's supposed to be....
Too bad we can't see the score sheet.
Way to pull through and make a smooth display for the runway.

Little League Opening Day
David is going to be our baseball boy. He is so pumped up about playing T-Ball. I think he is always pumped up about doing anything that involves being part of a team and wearing a uniform. And, in this case, the more accessories required to play a sport, the better. (Hmmm, I wonder where he gets that from??)
Of Course, James is thrilled to just be a Mets fan this season. Not a hint of regret from him about not playing another season. (Don't worry, Mom's not shedding any tears either.) He's Joe Cool here with his buddy Thomas.
Ok, so David's definitely serious about the warm up process.
The coach of the home team gets to pick the kid to say the Little League motto to start off the game. Turns out, Coach Mendenhall happened to know one of the players had the thing memorized, so he picked him to do the honors. (There's got to be some perks, right?)
Play Ball!
(I can't believe it, I think I just became a fan of T-Ball.)

Basketball Championship Game
The basketball season came to an end tonight for the Titans. It was an awesome game to watch. Everyone played their hearts out and it was so close, right up until the final buzzer. We were defeated 24-21. It was definietly the most exciting, nail biting games that a child of mine has ever been playing in. It was also Mark's first season coaching basketball. He loved it and the kids loved him. He had lots of assistance from Robie and Gary, they are a great trio together.
The emotions ran high for my boys at the end of the night, and I couldn't be prouder of both of them. It's great to be a Titan!
