"I'm Sorry!"

I can't even begin to count how many sorrys these boys have exchanged. Usually David is the one requiring the ice pack. Oh, don't worry, James gets egually injured, David just seems to always require an ice pack.

Well clearly I was easy that afternoon. I couldn't help but wonder why I didn't know they sell these suckers at Sea World back when I scoured San Diego County looking for them for table decorations for James' Willy Wonka birthday party way back when. This was a great way to top off a fun day at SW. They even all fell asleep on the way home.

Workin' the Pics

I'm trying out Picasa for my photo publishing. We'll see how I like it. I picked out some of my favorite pictures from the past two weeks. Here they are:

James finally lost that front tooth we've all been watching dangling for the last two months. Mark "lassoed" it and then James did the final tug. He burst out in tears of joy. This tooth had been really bothering him for awhile. It seemed like it deserved a celebration. Last time the tooth fairy visited James, he was very skeptical, so I decided to try something else. Hence, the creation of the tooth cake. It was well received and I'm pretty sure I'll be making more of these over the next few years.

Shaing a moment with G&G.
Never thought I'd witness this. G&G actually supporting and enjoying a video game!

I love this shot of these two buddies- Carson and Agabelle.

Abby's first introduction to baby Parker. She was thrilled(for about 1 minute) then it was off to play with the big boys again.

David and O at the ward camping trip. (David is sporting his Elivs Costello glasses.)

Abby wanted to "hold this baby", seeing as she is such a big girl. R looks entirely unamused at the situation.

Look closely at Abby and you can see the drool on her chin. This is a perfect example of exhaustion after a long day playing with cousins in the pool at G&G's.

When it rains, It pours (thru the attic)

I've been a bit preoccupied the past 10 days. Maybe it was the start of daily football practice for James. Or maybe it was going to back to work for a few shifts. Or maybe it was our crappy water pipes leaking and flooding the attic, boy's room and garage. Oh, I'm pretty sure it was a combination of all that. Also, my computer is being fussy about downloading pictures from my camera. And, like I always think to myself, what good is a blog post without pictures!! I'm ashamed of myself.
