She's the Beauty...
Here's the beast. We actually let him finish up the last of the steak dinner. He went berserk afterwards.

Not Your Typical Day in the Magic Kingdom
We braved the last two open days for Disneyland passports on Monday and Tuesday. It was crazy busy but extra fun since we met up with the Wimmers and spent the night with the Laynes. These boys are goofy! Why does David look like a gangster??
Abby and Brooke had so much fun together!!
There's nothing as exciting as spending the night in a hotel for these kids. An extra bonus: a great view of the fireworks.

Summer Starts
We celebrated the last day of school with a trip to Carl's Jr. for lunch. (I didn't know at the time but this was a warm-up for our weekend entertainment.) We reviewed the end of year report cards while chowing down. Here's James and David signaling the grade they will be advancing to in the fall.
Saturday was closing ceremonies for T-Ball. We were especially proud of David for getting the Sportsmanship award for his team. (Please don't make any smarty comments about how his Dad is the coach and possibly biased.)
It's all about the food when we're celebrating. We dragged ourselves and grandparents over to Cheeburger Cheeburger.
Mark was inspired (crazed) enough for the one pound burger eating contest.
Game on-James got the half pounder. Seriously, that's 10 ounces of beef. (The full pounder is 20 ounces, technically more than a pound. Why, I don't know~!)
Is that all ya got??
Victory!!
Just one last bite.
Got to wash it down with a shake.
Judge me by my size, do you?
